This past weekend, National League of Poker (NLOP) hosted a $2,000 Deepstack Tournament. Players were excited to play in a different style of tournament for huge winnings. NLOP has been the best place to play free, legal poker. They have been expanding in games and prizes, with players now able to win up to 40k a month! Their mobile friendly platform is up and running as well. Here is an except from the NLOP website:
What is a deepstack tournament?
A deep stack tournament is a tournament where players start off with a large amount of chips in relation to the size of the blinds. For example, in a standard tournament, players may begin with 5,000 chips and blinds starting at 25/50, with antes being added later in the tournament. However, in a deep stack tournament, players can start with 30,000 chips and blinds of 50/100. Therefore, rather than starting the tournament with 100 big blinds, players could start the tournament with 300 big blinds.
Deepstack tournaments can lead to more play and can be more fun for more experienced players. The deeper structure allows players to risk less, and go all-in at a lower rate. It is a great way to experience a poker game, and worth a try for any level player.
In conclusion, National League of Poker is constantly expanding in different types of gameplay, and looking to give players the best possible experience.
